ASSEMBLER: Full Time - First Shift

Mechanical aptitude required for assembly of large machinery and trailers from drawings and/or verbal instructions. Some knowledge of hydraulic and electrical components is important. Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues helpful, and we will train.
Must have basic tools and math skills. Knowledge of portable drills, air tools, hose crimping machine, light welding forklift truck & overhead crane operation is helpful. Some maintenance duties may be required. Job may require occasional heavy lifting, twisting and bending.

WELDERS/FABRICATORS NEEDED
Immediate – First Shift Openings
Position Description:
D&D Products is looking for passionate and motivated individuals to become part of our winning team. We are looking for self-starters that are eager to learn and grow in our fast paced environment, and passionate about their job.

Functions of the job consist of but may not be limited to:
- Set up & proficiently operate all welding equipment including industrial equipment as needed for job function, such as metal shear, press brake, iron worker, drill press, etc.
- Layout parts/material prior to welding
- Weld components based on blueprint specifications with quality standards, ensure proper settings on welding equipment
- Ensure quality on all fabrication – document all changes/discrepancies on drawing
- Use proper welding specifications as required for material or as per instructed by lead person or management.
- Inspect welds for proper fit and quality
- Coordinate with appropriate individual/s when troubleshooting
- Maintain organization within each job assigned to you/tag and locate product as needed for each job
- Keep your work area organized
- Assist in maintaining necessary supplies to operate efficiently
- Operate overhead crane in order to move product
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner and follow established rules of conduct
- Other duties as assigned by lead person/management
Job Qualifications:
- Candidate must have high school diploma or GED
- Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must have welding experience with excellent welding skills
- Must be able to read & interpret blueprints,
- Operate welding equipment, brake press, metal shear, iron worker, drill press, etc.
- Must be able to read measuring tape, calipers, etc.Candidate must be able to identify raw materials, product specifications, gauges.
- Able to work independently and take direction from lead person / management.
- Must be able to lift/move items up to 70 lbs
- Must be able to stand and / or move in various positions at times to perform job functions throughout the day.
- Operate Forklift as needed (will train)
